Boane's Balanced Training offers different ways to help you train for your situation. We can help you loose weight, and tone (or build muscle) on a personal training level. We also offer twenty six session personal self-defense training course for women, men and children (the children’s seminars from age 6 up to age 13 are not as many sessions) that covers the legal aspects of self-defense, the self-defense mind set, home and car security, household and unlikely items that can be used as weapons for protection, soft hand and hard hand self-defense, where to strike and what part of your body you can use to get away from your attacker, and much, much more. At the end of the course you will be given a Kubaton (a small four to six inch long defensive stick that is carried on a key ring) and a certificate from Boane’s Balanced Martial Arts certifying that you have completed a self-defense course.

In addition, Boane's Balanced Training offers personal (one-on-one) basic training in Martial Arts that emphasizes courtesy, discipline, respect, perseverance, and indomitable spirit (the five tenets of Martial Arts) as well as a Thirty Minute Women Self-Defense Seminar. Finally, group training tailored to your group's needs is available. Self-Defense Seminars are provided to companies, churches and organizations. The seminars can be 30 minutes, one hour, or two hours in duration. 

Kubaton

We are now offering a new type of self-defense training: Kubaton training. A kubaton (pictured here) is a small stick on a key ring that enables you to get away from an attacker by using it on pressure points to cause pain or to distract them so you can escape. We do this for individuals or for groups. Contact us for more information on this new training.
